I came across an article recently about the Israelite Samaritans. The heading was called Samaritan Astrology. The article is called Stephen Huller's observations. Is anyone aware that the Samaritans do Fortune telling and palm readings and they have booths set near the mountain for that purpose. It mentions it in the article. Also there is a Samaritan Priest who offers all the Fortune telling services on his Facebook. Does anyone have any opinions in relation to this topic?

I have a question if anybody can help me out. I observed the Day of Atonement last year which included for me fasting and no fluids.. Is there a requirement to fast, and if so where is it stated in the Torah. I would appreciate a few opinions about this topic in relation to the Day of Atonement.
